Tall, slender tuberous, perennial, herb, 0.15-0.25 m high, leaves linear; flowers c. 20 mm wide; post-anther lobe elongated, erect, entire; hair tufts slender. Fl. blue-purple, Sep to Oct. Sandy or lateritic soils.
