Open, multi-stemmed, lignotuberous shrub, 0.8-1.2 m high. Fl. green-cream-white, Aug to Oct. Yellow or white sand over laterite. On rises or on tops of lateritic cappings.

Scientific Description

Shrubs, 0.5-1 m high; branchlets hairy, not glaucous. Leaves alternate, 15-40 mm long, 1.5-3.5 mm wide, hairy or glabrous, on the abaxial surface, the hairs straight; lamina flat, more or less the same width throughout, once divided, tripartitely divided, entire or divided to the midrib; lobes 4-10 mm long, 2-3 mm wide, the margins revolute, exposing the lower surface of the leaf blade, forming a groove either side of the midvein. Inflorescences terminal, green or white; pedicels 2.5-4 mm long. Perianth 4-6 mm long; tepals all free after flower opens, hairy, simple-hairy; ovary hairy, stipitate, the stipe 1.5-2 mm long; pistil 8-10 mm long, white or pink, pollen presenter oblique, style hairy or glabrous. Follicles glabrous, not viscid, dehiscent, 10-14 mm long. Flowers in July, August, September or October. Occurs in the Eremaean (ER) Botanical Province(s), in the Coolgardie (COO) IBRA subregion(s). : Conservation code Priority One (P1).
