Spreading or dense, intricately branched, rigid shrub, 0.6-2 m high, 0.7-2 m wide. Fl. white-yellow, Aug to Oct. Sand, loam, gravel, laterite.
Scientific Description
Shrubs, 0.6-2 m high; branchlets hairy. Leaves alternate, 40-70(-100) mm long, glabrous; lamina terete, once divided, pinnately divided, divided to the midrib. Inflorescences axillary, white or yellow; pedicels 7-8 mm long. Perianth 4-6 mm long, glabrous; ovary glabrous; pistil 5-8 mm long, pollen presenter conical, style glabrous. Follicles 15-20 mm long, 10-15 mm wide, corky tetrahedral projections (on external surfaces of fruit) absent; seed 9-13 mm long (including wing), 5-8 mm wide, the wing continuous or discontinuous, marginal, extending ± unequally down each lateral side. Flowers in August, September or October. Occurs in the South-west (SW) Botanical Province(s), in the Mallee (MAL) or Esperance Plains (ESP) IBRA subregion(s).
