Prostrate to decumbent herb, stems to 30 cm. Fl. yellow, Jan to Feb. Sand. Edge of creek.
Scientific Description
Stems unribbed. Leaves flat, 40-70 mm long, 6-10 mm wide, Indumentum present, with sparse, simple hairs; margins entire or toothed. Bracteoles absent. Pedicel pedicellate, Pedicel length the pedicels 10-40 mm long, glabrous. Calyx lobes present, Calyx length 3-3.5 mm long, hairy, with sparse, absent hairs. Corolla yellow, 15-20 mm long, without auricles, not spurred, hairy on the outside, with sparse, simple hairs, hairy on the inside; central lobes 4.5-5 mm long, with wings; outer lobes 7-8 mm long, wing present on both sides and clearly unequal, 0.3-0.6 mm wide on the narrower side, 0.7-1 mm wide on the broader side. Anthers free. Ovary inferior, not gibbose; style 7-10 mm long, hairy; indusium single, hairy; ovules more than two. Flowers in January and February. Occurs in the Dampier land (DL), Ord-Victoria Plains (OVP), Victoria Bonaparte (VB) and Northern Kimberly (NK) IBRA Region(s), of the Northern (N) Botanical Province.
