Erect to ascending, rounded shrub, 0.2-1 m high, leaves 2-5.5 mm long, with copious axillary wool; corolla 4-5.5 mm long. Fl. white, Jun to Dec or Jan. Sandy, often gravelly soils.
Scientific Description
Stems ribbed. Leaves flat, 4-5 mm long, 0.5-1 mm wide, Indumentum present, with dense or sparse, simple hairs; margins entire. Bracteoles present, 1-2 mm long, glabrous. Pedicel absent (flowers sessile). Calyx lobes present, Calyx length 0.8-2.4 mm long, glabrous. Corolla white, 4-5.5 mm long, without auricles, not spurred, glabrous on the outside, hairy on the inside, 0.1-0.2 mm wide, wings present on both sides, 0.1-0.2 mm wide. Anthers free. Ovary inferior, not gibbose; style 3.5-4 mm long, hairy; indusium single, hairy; ovules more than two. Flowers in January, June, July, August, September, October, November and December. Occurs in the Yalgoo (YAL), Murchison (MUR), Coolgardie (COO), Avon Wheatbelt (AW), Jarrah Forest (JF) and Mallee (MAL) IBRA Region(s), of the Eremaean (E) and South West (SW) Botanical Province.
