Erect, viscid shrub, to 1.5 m high. Fl. yellow, Jul to Oct. Cliff lines of lateritic breakaways.
Scientific Description
Stems ribbed. Leaves flat, 10-45 mm long, 8-34 mm wide, Indumentum present, with dense, glandular hairs; margins toothed. Bracteoles present, 3-6 mm long, hairy, with glandular hairs. Pedicel pedicellate, Pedicel length the pedicels 9-15 mm long, Indumentum present, Hair type with glandular hairs. Calyx lobes present, Calyx length 5-5.5 mm long, hairy, with dense, glandular hairs. Corolla yellow, 27-37 mm long, without auricles, not spurred, hairy on the outside, with sparse, glandular hairs, hairy on the inside; central lobes 9-13 mm long, with wings; outer lobes 13.4-17 mm long, wings present on both sides, 2.5-3 mm wide. Anthers free. Ovary inferior, not gibbose; style 19-20 mm long, hairy; indusium single, hairy; ovules more than two. Flowers in July, August, September and October. Occurs in the Yalgoo (YAL) and Murchison (MUR) IBRA Region(s), of the Eremaean (E) Botanical Province.
