Rhizomatous, perennial, herb or (fern), 0.08-0.4 m high, blade 3-4-pinnate at the base, rachis and margins with long, stiff hairs; sori separate, unprotected. Fl. Feb. Damp sand. Sandstone cliffs, rock crevices, on hillsides and ridges.
