Rosetted perennial, herb, 0.15-0.38 m high, Leaves tufted, narrowly oblanceolate, 1-4.5 cm long, 1-4 mm wide, apex subacute, margin entire, hoary. Scape glabrous at base, glandular on inflorescence axis. Inflorescence racemose. Fl. yellow, Sep to Nov. Lateritic soils. Upper slopes, breakaways. Open woodland, mallee shrubland.
