Rosetted perennial, herb, 0.05-0.22 m high, Leaves narrowly oblanceolate, 0.5-3 cm long, 0.8-2 mm wide, apex mucronate, margin hyaline and serrulate, glabrous. Scape hoary. Inflorescence paniculate. Fl. pink, Aug to Oct. Sand or clayey sand over laterite. Upper hillslopes, breakaways. Low heath, mallee shrubland.
