Scientific Description

Shrubs; branchlets hairy. Leaves alternate, 185-290 mm long, hairy; petiole hairy; lamina flat, twice or more divided, pinnately divided, shallowly divided, indumentum appressed; distance from base of leaf to lowest lobe 170-235 mm; terminal leaf lobe 6-13 mm long, 5-10 mm wide; lowest lobes 40-45 mm long. Inflorescences yellow; scape 130-200 mm long; floral bracts 2-2.5 mm long. Perianth 6-7 mm long, glabrous; adaxial tepal 6-7 mm long; abaxial tepal 4.5-5.4 mm long; ovary hairy, style glabrous; style including stigmatic disc 3-3.5 mm long, lobed; stigma 1 mm long, 1 mm wide. Follicles 4.5-5.5 mm long. Flowers in July, August or September. Occurs in the South-west (SW) Botanical Province(s), in the Avon Wheatbelt (AW) or Mallee (MAL) IBRA subregion(s). : Conservation code Priority Three (P3).
