Prostrate to ascending shrub, 0.15-0.5 m high. Fl. white-blue-purple, Jun to Oct or Dec. Sand, often over limestone. Sand dunes & plains.

Scientific Description

Stems unribbed. Leaves flat, 15-50 mm long, 1.5-3 mm wide, Indumentum present, with sparse, simple hairs; margins entire. Bracteoles present, 6-10 mm long, hairy, with simple hairs. Pedicel pedicellate, Pedicel length the pedicels 2.5-3 mm long, Indumentum present, Hair type with simple hairs. Calyx lobes present, Calyx length 10-12 mm long, hairy, with sparse, simple hairs. Corolla white, 8-10 mm long, without auricles, not spurred, hairy on the outside, with dense, simple hairs, hairy on the inside, 0.5-1.2 mm wide. Anthers free. Ovary inferior, not gibbose; style 6-9 mm long, hairy; indusium single, hairy; ovules one or two. Flowers in June, July, August and September. Occurs in the Geraldton Sandplains (GS) and Swan Coastal Plain (SWA) IBRA Region(s), of the South West (SW) Botanical Province.
