Prostrate to ascending shrub, 0.05-0.3 m high. Fl. white-cream, Aug to Dec or Jan. Sandy soils, laterite.

Scientific Description

Stems unribbed. Leaves flat, 20-115 mm long, 2-18 mm wide, Indumentum absent (leaves glabrous); margins entire. Bracteoles present, 7-11 mm long, hairy, with simple hairs. Pedicel absent (flowers sessile). Calyx lobes present, Calyx length 5-9 mm long, hairy, with sparse, glandular hairs. Corolla white, 14-23 mm long, without auricles, not spurred, hairy on the outside, with dense, simple hairs, hairy on the inside; central lobes 5.5-8 mm long, with wings; outer lobes 4-6 mm long, wings present on both sides, 0.5-0.6 mm wide. Anthers free. Ovary inferior, not gibbose; style 7-9 mm long, hairy; indusium single, hairy; ovules one or two. Flowers in January, August, September, October, November and December. Occurs in the Geraldton Sandplains (GS), Swan Coastal Plain (SWA), Avon Wheatbelt (AW) and Jarrah Forest (JF) IBRA Region(s), of the South West (SW) Botanical Province.
