Non-lignotuberous shrub, 0.3-1.5 m high, leaves ovate. Fl. pink & red & cream, May or Jul or Sep to Nov. Gravelly sand or loam. Rocky hillslopes.
Scientific Description
Shrubs, 0.50-2 m high. Leaves alternate, 8-20 mm long, 4-8 mm wide, glabrous; lamina flat, widest around the middle or clearly widest above the middle, entire, with glands at the leaf (or leaf lobe) apex. Inflorescences red or pink; innermost bracts 4-5.5 mm long; peduncles 2-5 mm long. Perianth 19-21 mm long, hairy; ovary glabrous; pistil 25-28 mm long, pollen presenter erect, style glabrous. Flowers in May, June, July, August, September, October or November. Occurs in the South-west (SW) Botanical Province(s), in the Mallee (MAL) or Esperance Plains (ESP) IBRA subregion(s).
