Erect, often spreading shrub, 0.3-2 m high. Fl. yellow, Aug to Oct. White or yellow sand, gravelly sandy soils.
Scientific Description
Shrubs, 0.5-2 m high; branchlets glabrous, ribbed. Leaves alternate, 15-55 mm long, 3-6 mm wide, hairy; lamina flat, clearly widest above the middle, entire, scabrous, the margins recurved or revolute; apex obtuse. Inflorescences yellow; pedicels 2-4 mm long, hairy. Perianth 8-9.5 mm long, radially symmetrical, hairy, the hairs appressed; anther appendage present, 0.3-0.4 mm long; ovary glabrous; pistil 7-8 mm long. Flowers in August, September or October. Occurs in the South-west (SW) Botanical Province(s), in the Mallee (MAL) or Esperance Plains (ESP) IBRA subregion(s). : Conservation code Priority Three (P3).
