Scientific Description

Shrubs; branchlets glabrous. Leaves petiolate, alternate, 25-50 mm long, 2-10 mm wide, hairy; lamina flat, clearly widest below the middle, entire, erect, the margins flat; apex obtuse. Inflorescences yellow or red. Perianth 12(-18) mm long, glabrous, without awns; pistil 24-28 mm long, curved, style glabrous. Follicles hairy, elliptic. Flowers in May, July or August. Occurs in the South-west (SW) Botanical Province(s), in the Warren (WAR) IBRA subregion(s).
