Erect, bushy, non-lignotuberous shrub, 1-2 m high. Fl. red/pink & cream & white, Oct. Gravelly sand or loam over ironstone. Hilltops or rises.
Scientific Description
Shrubs, 2-4 m high; branchlets glabrous, not glaucous. Leaves alternate, 25-45 mm long, 15-30 mm wide, glabrous; lamina flat, clearly widest above the middle or more or less the same width throughout, once divided, pinnately divided, shallowly divided, the margins flat. Inflorescences terminal, cream or pink; pedicels 4-6 mm long. Perianth 8-12 mm long; tepals some joined and some free after flower opens, glabrous; ovary hairy, stipitate, the stipe 1-1.5 mm long; pistil 10-15 mm long, red, pollen presenter lateral, style glabrous. Follicles glabrous, not viscid, dehiscent, 10-13 mm long. Flowers in August, September, October, November or December. Occurs in the Eremaean (ER) or South-west (SW) Botanical Province(s), in the Coolgardie (COO), Avon Wheatbelt (AW) or Mallee (MAL) IBRA subregion(s). : Conservation code Priority Three (P3).
