Scientific Description

Shrubs, 0.5-1 m high; branchlets hairy, with curled hairs. Leaves alternate, 15-35 mm long, 2-2.3 mm wide, glabrous; lamina terete, more or less the same width throughout, once divided, tripartitely divided, entire or divided to the midrib, with 3 points or lobes; distance from base of leaf to lowest lobe 15-25 mm. Inflorescences not viscid, yellow or orange. Perianth 5-7 mm long, hairy, the limb apex hairy all over; pistil 10-15 mm long; pollen presenter fusiform, hairy, 6-7 mm long. Cone with persistent scales, 6-8 mm long. Flowers in September. Occurs in the Eremaean (ER) Botanical Province(s), in the Yalgoo (YAL), Murchison (MUR) or Avon Wheatbelt (AW) IBRA subregion(s). : Conservation code Priority Three (P3).
