Service Notice

The Western Australian Herbarium’s collections management system, WAHerb, and DBCA’s taxonomic names application, WACensus, have been set to read-only mode since 1 October 2025. Recent taxonomic changes are not reflected in Florabase, herbarium collections, or in the census. We are hoping to be able to reinstate services around December 15; we will provide an update at that time.

The notice period started at 9:00 am on Wednesday, 1 October 2025 +08:00 and will end at 12:00 pm on Monday, 15 December 2025 +08:00.

Scientific Description

Shrubs, 1-5 m high; branchlets glabrous, not ribbed. Leaves alternate, 90-120 mm long, 3-4 mm wide, glabrous; lamina flat, more or less the same width throughout, entire, scabrous, the margins flat; apex obtuse. Inflorescences yellow; pedicels 4-8 mm long, hairy. Perianth 12-13 mm long, irregular, hairy, the hairs appressed; anther appendage present, 0.6-0.8 mm long; ovary glabrous; pistil 4.5-5 mm long. Flowers in September, October or November. Occurs in the Eremaean (ER) Botanical Province(s), in the Yalgoo (YAL) IBRA subregion(s). : Conservation code Priority Two (P2).
