Erect, spreading shrub, 0.4-1.8 m high. Fl. yellow, Aug to Nov. Sand, loam. Base of granite outcrops.
Scientific Description
Shrubs, 0.4-1.5 m high; branchlets hairy, not ribbed. Leaves alternate, 40-110 mm long, 1-1.5 mm wide, hairy; lamina terete or subterete, more or less the same width throughout, entire, scabrous; apex pungent. Inflorescences white or yellow; pedicels 3-4 mm long, hairy. Perianth 6-9.5 mm long, radially symmetrical, hairy, the hairs appressed; anther appendage present, 0.2-0.5 mm long; ovary glabrous; pistil 6-8 mm long. Flowers in August, September, October or November. Occurs in the Eremaean (ER) or South-west (SW) Botanical Province(s), in the Yalgoo (YAL), Geraldton Sandplains (GS) or Avon Wheatbelt (AW) IBRA subregion(s). : Conservation code Priority Three (P3).
