Spreading shrub, 0.3-1.2 m high. Fl. white/yellow & red, Apr or Sep to Oct. Brown or peaty sand, sandy clay, loam. Seasonally-wet areas, swamps.
Scientific Description
Shrubs, 1-1.5 m high; branchlets hairy, not glaucous. Leaves alternate, 25-50 mm long, 2-4 mm wide, glabrous; lamina flat, clearly widest above the middle, once divided, tripartitely divided, entire or divided to the midrib; lobes 5-20 mm long, 1-2 mm wide, the margins recurved. Inflorescences axillary or terminal, white or pink; pedicels 3-5 mm long. Perianth 3-5 mm long; tepals all free after flower opens, glabrous; ovary glabrous, stipitate, the stipe 0.5-1 mm long; pistil 5-7 mm long, red or pink, pollen presenter oblique, style glabrous. Follicles glabrous, not viscid, dehiscent. Flowers in January, February, March, April or December. Occurs in the South-west (SW) Botanical Province(s), in the Jarrah Forest (JF) or Warren (WAR) IBRA subregion(s). : Conservation code Priority Three (P3).
