Scientific Description

Shrubs, 0.5-1 m high; branchlets hairy, not ribbed. Leaves alternate, 15-35 mm long, 1-1.5 mm wide, glabrous; lamina flat, clearly widest above the middle or more or less the same width throughout, entire, scabrous, the margins flat or recurved; apex pungent. Inflorescences yellow; pedicels 1-2 mm long, hairy. Perianth 9-11 mm long, radially symmetrical, hairy, the hairs appressed; anther appendage absent; ovary glabrous; pistil 7-8 mm long. Flowers in January or December. Occurs in the Eremaean (ER) or South-west (SW) Botanical Province(s), in the Coolgardie (COO), Mallee (MAL) or Esperance Plains (ESP) IBRA subregion(s). : Conservation code Priority Three (P3).
