Scientific Description

Shrubs, 0.5-1.5 m high; branchlets hairy. Leaves alternate, 15-40 mm long, 0.5-1 mm wide, glabrous; lamina terete, entire, erect, incurved or sigmoid. Inflorescences without leaves, the flowers dispersed singly, white or blue, hairy; floral bracts 3-4 mm long, hairy. Perianth 4.5-10.5 mm long, irregular, hairy; upper lip 1.5-5 mm long, glabrous; lower lip 0.5-0.8 mm long, hairy. Flowers in July, August, September, October or November. Occurs in the South-west (SW) Botanical Province(s), in the Mallee (MAL) or Esperance Plains (ESP) IBRA subregion(s).
