Erect, multi-stemmed shrub, 0.3-1.5(-2.5) m high. Fl. white, Aug to Dec. White, grey or yellow sand, gravel. Sandplains.

Scientific Description

Shrubs, 1-2 m high; branchlets hairy. Leaves alternate, 25-115 mm long, 0.5-2 mm wide, hairy; lamina terete, entire, erect or incurved. Inflorescences without leaves, the flowers dispersed singly, white or grey, hairy; floral bracts 1.7-3 mm long, hairy. Perianth 4-7 mm long, irregular, hairy; upper lip 1-3 mm long, hairy; lower lip 0.4-1 mm long, hairy. Nut 2-3.2 mm long. Flowers in August, September, October, November or December. Occurs in the South-west (SW) Botanical Province(s), in the Geraldton Sandplains (GS), Swan Coastal Plain (SWA), Avon Wheatbelt (AW), Jarrah Forest (JF) or Mallee (MAL) IBRA subregion(s).
