Erect shrub, 0.5-1.5 m high. Fl. white-other, Aug to Oct. White/grey lateritic sand. Sandplains.
Scientific Description
Shrubs, 0.5-1 m high; branchlets hairy. Leaves alternate, 35-115 mm long, 3-15 mm wide, hairy; lamina flat, widest around the middle, entire, erect. Inflorescences without leaves, the flowers dispersed singly, white, hairy; floral bracts 3-7 mm long, hairy. Perianth 5-7 mm long, irregular, hairy; upper lip 1.5-2.5 mm long; lower lip 1-1.5 mm long, hairy. Nut 3-3.3 mm long. Flowers in August, September or October. Occurs in the South-west (SW) Botanical Province(s), in the Geraldton Sandplains (GS) IBRA subregion(s).
