Compact shrub, ca 0.2 m high. Fl. yellow, Jul to Oct. Grey sand, gravelly loam, clay. Lateritic breakaways & rises.
Scientific Description
Shrubs; branchlets hairy. Leaves alternate, 70-130 mm long, glabrous; petiole glabrous; lamina flat, twice or more divided, pinnately divided, deeply divided; distance from base of leaf to lowest lobe 45-195 mm; terminal leaf lobe 5-15 mm long, 2-5 mm wide; lowest lobes 20-40 mm long. Inflorescences yellow; scape 230-300 mm long; floral bracts 1.5-2 mm long. Perianth 3.5-4.5 mm long, glabrous; adaxial tepal 3.5-4.5 mm long; abaxial tepal 2.5-3 mm long; ovary hairy, style glabrous; style including stigmatic disc 2-3 mm long, entire; stigma 1 mm long, 0.3-0.5 mm wide. Follicles 4-6 mm long. Flowers in July, August, September or October. Occurs in the South-west (SW) Botanical Province(s), in the Geraldton Sandplains (GS) IBRA subregion(s). : Conservation code Priority Three (P3).
