Erect, multi-stemmed, lignotuberous shrub, 0.5-2 m high. Fl. white-other, Jul to Dec. Sand, laterite.
Scientific Description
Shrubs, 1-2 m high; branchlets glabrous. Leaves alternate, 25-175 mm long, 0.5-1.5 mm wide, glabrous; lamina terete, entire, incurved. Inflorescences without leaves, the flowers dispersed singly, white or grey, hairy; floral bracts 1.7-3.5 mm long, hairy. Perianth 4-8.5 mm long, irregular, hairy; upper lip 1.6-3 mm long, hairy; lower lip 0.4-1.2 mm long, hairy. Nut 2-3.2 mm long. Flowers in July, August, September, October, November or December. Occurs in the Eremaean (ER) or South-west (SW) Botanical Province(s), in the Coolgardie (COO), Geraldton Sandplains (GS), Swan Coastal Plain (SWA), Avon Wheatbelt (AW), Jarrah Forest (JF), Mallee (MAL) or Esperance Plains (ESP) IBRA subregion(s).
