Erect, often spreading shrub, 0.5-2.5 m high. Fl. green-yellow, Jun to Sep. Yellow sand, sandy gravelly clay, sandy loam.
Scientific Description
Shrubs, 0.5-2.5 m high; branchlets hairy, not ribbed. Leaves alternate, 25-55 mm long, 1-1.5 mm wide, hairy; lamina terete, more or less the same width throughout, entire, scabrous; apex pungent. Inflorescences yellow; pedicels 1-1.5 mm long, hairy. Perianth 7-8 mm long, radially symmetrical, hairy, the hairs appressed; anther appendage present, 0.2-0.3 mm long; ovary glabrous; pistil 4-7 mm long. Flowers in June, July, August or September. Occurs in the Eremaean (ER) or South-west (SW) Botanical Province(s), in the Coolgardie (COO), Avon Wheatbelt (AW) or Mallee (MAL) IBRA subregion(s).
