Erect shrub, 0.15-1.5 m high. Fl. white, Sep to Dec. White/grey sand. Sandplains.
Scientific Description
Shrubs, 1-1.5 m high; branchlets glabrous. Leaves alternate, 10-65 mm long, 0.5-1 mm wide, glabrous; lamina terete, entire, erect, incurved or sigmoid. Inflorescences leafy, the flowers aggregated into distinct clusters, the clusters stalked, white or purple, hairy; floral bracts 1.5-3 mm long, hairy. Perianth 4-7 mm long, irregular, hairy; upper lip 1.5-3 mm long, glabrous; lower lip 1.5-2.5 mm long, glabrous. Nut 1.5-2 mm long. Flowers in September, October, November or December. Occurs in the South-west (SW) Botanical Province(s), in the Mallee (MAL) or Esperance Plains (ESP) IBRA subregion(s).
