Clumped small shrub. Fl. yellow, Jul to Oct. Lateritic gravel, clay.
Scientific Description
Shrubs; branchlets hairy. Leaves alternate, 70-125 mm long, hairy; petiole hairy; lamina flat, twice or more divided, tripartitely divided, deeply divided or divided to the midrib, indumentum appressed; distance from base of leaf to lowest lobe 35-80 mm; terminal leaf lobe 8-25 mm long, 1.5-5 mm wide; lowest lobes 25-50 mm long. Inflorescences yellow; scape 65-115 mm long; floral bracts 2-2.5 mm long. Perianth 5-6 mm long, glabrous; adaxial tepal 5-6 mm long; abaxial tepal 3.8-4.5 mm long; ovary hairy, style glabrous; style including stigmatic disc 3-3.8 mm long, lobed; stigma 1.2-1.3 mm long, 1-1.5 mm wide. Follicles 4.5-5 mm long. Flowers in July, August, September or October. Occurs in the South-west (SW) Botanical Province(s), in the Avon Wheatbelt (AW) or Mallee (MAL) IBRA subregion(s). : Conservation code Priority Three (P3).
