Scientific Description

Shrubs; branchlets hairy. Leaves alternate, 30-50 mm long, hairy; petiole hairy; lamina terete or flat, once divided or twice or more divided, pinnately divided or tripartitely divided, deeply divided or divided to the midrib, indumentum appressed; distance from base of leaf to lowest lobe 12-25 mm; terminal leaf lobe 3-10 mm long, 1-1.5 mm wide; lowest lobes 15-25 mm long. Inflorescences yellow; scape 30-80 mm long; floral bracts 1.5-3 mm long. Perianth 3.5-5 mm long, glabrous; adaxial tepal 3.5-5 mm long; abaxial tepal 2.5-3 mm long; ovary hairy, style glabrous; style including stigmatic disc 2-2.5 mm long, lobed or horned; stigma 0.5-1 mm long, 0.4-0.5 mm wide. Follicles 3.5-4 mm long. Flowers in September, October or November. Occurs in the South-west (SW) Botanical Province(s), in the Mallee (MAL) IBRA subregion(s). : Conservation code Priority Three (P3).
