Shrub, 0.2-0.6 m high. Fl. yellow, Jul to Oct. Gravelly soils.
Scientific Description
Shrubs; branchlets hairy. Leaves alternate, 65-130 mm long, hairy; petiole hairy; lamina flat, twice or more divided, tripartitely divided, deeply divided or divided to the midrib, indumentum appressed; distance from base of leaf to lowest lobe 40-70 mm; terminal leaf lobe 5-18 mm long, 2-5 mm wide; lowest lobes 25-45 mm long. Inflorescences yellow; scape 65-145 mm long; floral bracts 1.5-2 mm long. Perianth 4.5-5.8 mm long, glabrous; adaxial tepal 4.5-5.8 mm long; abaxial tepal 3.2-4 mm long; ovary hairy, style glabrous; style including stigmatic disc 3-3.5 mm long, lobed; stigma 1 mm long, 0.7-0.8 mm wide. Flowers in July, August, September or October. Occurs in the South-west (SW) Botanical Province(s), in the Mallee (MAL) IBRA subregion(s). : Conservation code Priority Two (P2).
