Scientific Description

Shrubs; branchlets hairy. Leaves alternate, 75-240 mm long, hairy; petiole hairy; lamina terete or flat, twice or more divided, pinnately divided, divided to the midrib, indumentum appressed; distance from base of leaf to lowest lobe 35-140 mm; terminal leaf lobe 7-15 mm long, 2-3 mm wide; lowest lobes 45-80 mm long. Inflorescences yellow; scape 100-270 mm long; floral bracts 1.2-2 mm long. Perianth 4-4.8 mm long, hairy; adaxial tepal 4-4.8 mm long; abaxial tepal 3-3.4 mm long; ovary hairy, style glabrous; style including stigmatic disc 2.7-3.2 mm long, entire; stigma 1 mm long, 0.8-1 mm wide. Follicles 5-6 mm long. Flowers in July, August, September or October. Occurs in the Eremaean (ER) or South-west (SW) Botanical Province(s), in the Hampton (HAM), Mallee (MAL) or Esperance Plains (ESP) IBRA subregion(s).
