Spreading, open shrub, 0.3-1.25 m high. Fl. blue-white, Jul to Nov. Sandy or clayey soils. Swampy areas, plains, slopes.
Scientific Description
Shrubs, 1-1.5 m high; branchlets glabrous. Leaves alternate, 65-310 mm long, 5-15 mm wide, glabrous; lamina flat, more or less the same width throughout, entire, erect. Inflorescences without leaves, the flowers aggregated into distinct clusters, the clusters stalked, white or blue, hairy; floral bracts 1.5-2.5 mm long, hairy. Perianth 6-8 mm long, irregular, hairy, hairy, the lobes 1.5-3 mm long. Nut 1-1.5 mm long. Flowers in July, August, September, October or November. Occurs in the South-west (SW) Botanical Province(s), in the Swan Coastal Plain (SWA), Jarrah Forest (JF) or Warren (WAR) IBRA subregion(s). : Conservation code Priority Three (P3).
