Scientific Description

Shrubs, 1-2 m high; branchlets hairy. Leaves alternate, 40-180 mm long, 0.5-1 mm wide, hairy or glabrous; lamina terete, entire, erect. Inflorescences without leaves, the flowers dispersed singly, white, cream or grey, hairy; floral bracts 1.3-2.5 mm long, hairy. Perianth 4-7 mm long, irregular, hairy; upper lip 1.5-2.5 mm long, hairy; lower lip 0.5-1.5 mm long, hairy. Nut 2-3 mm long. Flowers in September or October. Occurs in the Eremaean (ER) or South-west (SW) Botanical Province(s), in the Carnarvon (CAR) or Geraldton Sandplains (GS) IBRA subregion(s).
