Erect, clumped shrub, to 0.6 m high. Fl. yellow, Aug to Sep. Gravelly loam, sand. Lateritic rises.
Scientific Description
Shrubs; branchlets hairy. Leaves alternate, 60-180 mm long, glabrous; petiole glabrous; lamina flat, twice or more divided, tripartitely divided, deeply divided; distance from base of leaf to lowest lobe 60-90 mm; terminal leaf lobe 5-10 mm long, 3-5 mm wide; lowest lobes 25-50 mm long. Inflorescences yellow; scape 60-110 mm long; floral bracts 2-2.5 mm long. Perianth 4-5.5 mm long, hairy; adaxial tepal 4-5.5 mm long; abaxial tepal 3.7-4 mm long; ovary hairy, style glabrous; style including stigmatic disc 3-3.5 mm long, lobed; stigma 1-1.2 mm long, 1-1.2 mm wide. Follicles 6-7 mm long. Flowers in August or September. Occurs in the South-west (SW) Botanical Province(s), in the Geraldton Sandplains (GS) or Swan Coastal Plain (SWA) IBRA subregion(s). : Conservation code Priority Three (P3).
