Scientific Description

Shrubs; branchlets glabrous. Leaves alternate, 45-90 mm long, glabrous; petiole glabrous; lamina flat, twice or more divided, tripartitely divided, deeply divided; distance from base of leaf to lowest lobe 10-45 mm; terminal leaf lobe 3-6 mm long, 2-3 mm wide; lowest lobes 20-40 mm long. Inflorescences yellow; scape 35-65 mm long; floral bracts 1.5-3 mm long. Perianth 6-7 mm long, hairy; adaxial tepal 6-7 mm long; abaxial tepal 5.5-6 mm long; ovary hairy, style glabrous; style including stigmatic disc 3.5-5.5 mm long, lobed; stigma 0.7-1.5 mm long, 0.6-1.2 mm wide. Follicles 6.8-7.7 mm long. Flowers in August, September or October. Occurs in the South-west (SW) Botanical Province(s), in the Avon Wheatbelt (AW), Jarrah Forest (JF) or Esperance Plains (ESP) IBRA subregion(s).
