Decumbent to ascending shrub. Fl. yellow, Sep to Oct. Lateritic soils, sandy loam.
Scientific Description
Shrubs; branchlets hairy. Leaves alternate, 100-270 mm long, hairy; petiole hairy; lamina flat, clearly widest above the middle, once divided, tripartitely divided or divided only at the apex, shallowly divided, indumentum spreading; lowest lobes 35-45 mm long. Inflorescences yellow; scape 165-348 mm long; floral bracts 2.5-3 mm long. Perianth 6-8 mm long, hairy; adaxial tepal 6-8 mm long; abaxial tepal 4.5-6 mm long; ovary hairy, style glabrous; style including stigmatic disc 3.5-6 mm long, lobed or horned; stigma 1-1.7 mm long, 1.2-1.5 mm wide. Follicles 5.5-6 mm long. Flowers in September or October. Occurs in the South-west (SW) Botanical Province(s), in the Avon Wheatbelt (AW) or Jarrah Forest (JF) IBRA subregion(s).
