Shrub, 1-2 m high. Fl. pink & cream, Mar to May. Outcrops.
Scientific Description
Trees or Shrubs, 1-2 m high; branchlets glabrous or hairy. Leaves alternate, 40-105(-150) mm long, 12-40(-60) mm wide, glabrous; lamina flat, widest around the middle, entire. Inflorescences axillary, cream; pedicels 8-9 mm long. Perianth 7-8 mm long, glabrous; ovary glabrous; pistil 14-18 mm long, pollen presenter erect, style glabrous. Follicles 23-25 mm long, 11-13 mm wide, corky tetrahedral projections (on external surfaces of fruit) absent; seed 14-22 mm long (including wing), the wing discontinuous, marginal, extending ± unequally down each lateral side. Flowers in March, April or May. Occurs in the South-west (SW) Botanical Province(s), in the Mallee (MAL) IBRA subregion(s).
