Rosetted perennial, herb, 0.065-0.3 m high, Leaves tufted, linear to narrowly oblanceolate, 0.8-9.5 cm long, 0.7-1.5 mm wide, apex mucronate, margin mostly entire (serrate near apex), glabrous. Scape glabrous at base, glandular along inflorescence axis. Inflorescence paniculate. Fl. white, Aug to Oct. Sand, often over limestone. Heath or shrubland.
