Scientific Description
Shrubs, 1-3 m high; branchlets hairy, not glaucous. Leaves alternate, 15-30 mm long, 10-17 mm wide, hairy, on the adaxial or abaxial surface, the hairs straight; lamina flat, widest around the middle, entire, the margins flat. Inflorescences terminal, cream or pink; pedicels 1-2 mm long. Perianth 3-6 mm long; tepals all free after flower opens, hairy, simple-hairy; ovary glabrous, stipitate, the stipe 0.5-1 mm long; pistil 6-8 mm long, pink, pollen presenter conical, style glabrous. Follicles hairy, viscid, dehiscent, 10-12 mm long. Flowers in September. Occurs in the South-west (SW) Botanical Province(s), in the Mallee (MAL) IBRA subregion(s).
