Shrub (subshrub), 0.1-0.2 m high, stems hirsute; leaves entire, basal leaves absent; corolla hairy outside; sepals 5.5-7 mm long. Fl. blue-pink/white, Dec. Sandy gravel. Upland areas of open wandoo woodland.
Scientific Description
Stems unribbed. Leaves flat, 10-20 mm long, 5-8 mm wide, Indumentum present, with dense or sparse, glandular hairs; margins entire. Bracteoles present, 6.5-9 mm long, hairy, with glandular hairs. Pedicel pedicellate, Pedicel length the pedicels 2.8-4 mm long, Indumentum present, Hair type with simple hairs. Calyx lobes present, Calyx length 4-7.5 mm long, hairy, with sparse, glandular hairs. Corolla blue or mauve, 11-16 mm long, without auricles, not spurred, hairy on the outside, with sparse, glandular hairs, glabrous on the inside; central lobes 5-6.4 mm long, with wings; outer lobes 8-9 mm long, wings present on both sides, 1.5-1.7 mm wide. Anthers free. Ovary inferior, not gibbose; style 6.5-7 mm long, hairy; indusium single, hairy; ovules more than two. Flowers in December. Occurs in the Jarrah Forest (JF) IBRA Region(s), of the South West (SW) Botanical Province. Conservation Code: Conservation code Priority Three (P3).
