Caespitose perennial, herb, 0.06-0.13 m high, Leaves narrowly oblanceolate to oblanceolate, 0.5-1 cm long, 0.8-2 mm wide, apex subacute, margin entire, glandular. Scape mostly glabrous, sparingly glandular on inflorescence axis. Inflorescence racemose. Fl. yellow, Oct to Nov. Sandy clay. Hillslopes, or adjacent to granite outcrops. Open woodland, shrubland.
