Erect,compact shrub, to 1.2 m high. Fl. red/pink, Feb or May to Dec. White, grey or yellow sand, sandy clay, gravel. Among low scrub.

Scientific Description

Shrubs, 0.4-1 m high. Leaves alternate, 6-12 mm long, glabrous; lamina terete, once divided, tripartitely divided, divided to the midrib, with glands at the leaf (or leaf lobe) apex. Inflorescences red; innermost bracts 4-5 mm long; peduncles 0.5-2.5 mm long. Perianth 14-16 mm long, hairy; ovary glabrous; pistil 23-28 mm long, pollen presenter erect, style glabrous. Flowers in February, May, June, July, August, September, October, November or December. Occurs in the Eremaean (ER) or South-west (SW) Botanical Province(s), in the Coolgardie (COO), Avon Wheatbelt (AW) or Mallee (MAL) IBRA subregion(s).
