Low diffuse, lignotuberous shrub, 0.25-1.5 m high. Fl. red & pink & yellow, Aug to Dec or Jan to Feb. White or yellow sand with lateritic gravel.
Scientific Description
Shrubs or prostrate shrubs, 0.30-1.5 m high. Leaves alternate, 8-15 mm long, glabrous; lamina terete, twice or more divided, tripartitely divided, divided to the midrib, with glands at the leaf (or leaf lobe) apex. Inflorescences yellow or red; innermost bracts 5-5.5 mm long; peduncles 1-2 mm long. Perianth 19-23 mm long, hairy; ovary hairy; pistil 24-29 mm long, pollen presenter erect, style hairy or glabrous. Flowers in January, February, August, September, October or November. Occurs in the South-west (SW) Botanical Province(s), in the Avon Wheatbelt (AW), Mallee (MAL) or Esperance Plains (ESP) IBRA subregion(s).
