Scientific Description
Shrub, spines absent; branchlets smooth, without distinct raised glands, +/- cylindrical in cross-section, covered in hairs or scales, the hairs stellate (star-shaped). Leaves opposite, simple, 6-15 mm long, 2-5 mm wide, flat, the margins flat, smooth, without distinct raised glands, covered in hairs or scales, with stellate (star shaped) hairs; stipular excrescences absent. Flowers; pedicels 4-5.5 mm long; calyx present, 3-3.5 mm long, smooth, without distinct raised glands, covered in hairs or scales, the hairs stellate (star-shaped); corolla pink or white or cream, petals four, 6-10 mm long, valvate (not overlapping), free, hairy on the surfaces; stamens twice as many as petals, 1.5-2 mm long, smooth, hairy; anthers 0.6 mm long, with an appendage. Flowers in June, September and October. Occurs in the Eremaean and South-West Botanical Province, in the Coolgardie and Avon Wheatbelt IBRA region(s). Conservation Code: Priority Three (P3).
