Rounded shrub, with ascending branches; leaves shallowly concave between angles. Fl. white-cream-pink-orange, Apr to Jul. Quartzite rocks. In closed heaths, on lower slopes.

Scientific Description

Shrubs, 0 m high; branchlets hairy. Leaves alternate, 1.5-2 mm wide, glabrous; lamina terete, entire. Inflorescences axillary, cream or pink; pedicels 3-5 mm long. Perianth 4-5.5 mm long, glabrous; ovary glabrous; pistil 13-15 mm long, pollen presenter erect, style glabrous. Follicles 22-25 mm long, 12-17 mm wide, corky tetrahedral projections (on external surfaces of fruit) absent; seed 10-15 mm long (including wing), 5-6 mm wide, the wing continuous. Flowers in April, May, June or July. Occurs in the South-west (SW) Botanical Province(s), in the Coolgardie (COO) or Mallee (MAL) IBRA subregion(s). : Conservation code Priority Two (P2).
