Clumping tuberous, perennial, herb, 0.07-0.2 m high, leaves short, curved; tepals narrow, acuminate; post-anther lobe elongating to form rounded hood. Fl. blue/white, Sep to Oct. Gravelly loams. Soil pockets on coastal granites and headlands.
