Non-lignotuberous shrub, 0.3-2 m high. Fl. yellow, Apr to Jul. White or grey sand. Flats or slight depressions.
Scientific Description
Shrubs, 1.5-2 m high; branchlets glabrous or hairy. Leaves petiolate, alternate, 10-15 mm long, 1-1.2 mm wide, glabrous; petiole 1.2-1.5 mm long; lamina flat, more or less the same width throughout, entire, the margins recurved or revolute. Inflorescences tomentose (with matted or tangled, soft, woolly hairs), yellow or pink, hairy. Perianth 18-20 mm long, hairy, all over, limb apex pubescent (with soft, straight, erect hairs), without awns; pistil 24-30 mm long, hooked, style glabrous. Follicles hairy, tomentose (with matted or tangled, soft, woolly hairs), elliptic, 22-30 mm long. Flowers in April, May, June or July. Occurs in the South-west (SW) Botanical Province(s), in the Geraldton Sandplains (GS), Swan Coastal Plain (SWA) or Jarrah Forest (JF) IBRA subregion(s).
