General Biology. Growth form. Tree. Reproduction. Stem fragments, suckers. Dispersal. Water, garden refuse. Vegetative regeneration strategy. Resprouts, produces root suckers, stem layering. Woody structure. Diffuse porous. Seedbank persistence. Probably no viable seed produced in Australia.
Notes. Deciduous in summer. Has been reported to replace native riparian vegetation and block the flow of water.
