General Biology. Growth form. Small tree. Reproduction. Seed. Dispersal. Wind, water. Time to first flowering. 3-5 years. Vegetative regeneration strategy. Produces root suckers. Seedbank persistence. Short, days-1 year.

Notes. Can hybridise with Casuarina cunninghamiana.

Suggested method of management and control. Hand pull seedlings. For mature plants apply 250 ml Access® in 15 L of diesel to basal 50 cm of trunk (basal bark), or drill and fill with 50% glyphosate.
